The MLS has produced some brilliant players in recent history and the production line keeps giving every season. The Philadelphia Union have been very lucky and have managed to get themselves a fantastic little forward called Jack McInerney. McInerney has been a in prolific form this season and has scored 10 goals in 17 games, this form is not down to luck, he is just that good. McInerney can bring the best out of his teams mates and conjure up some magnificent displays upfront to give the opposition a huge headache. McInerney has yet to be given a USA first team appearance but has played for the U17’s, U20’s and U23’s.
McInerney is 20, 5’10, quick, natural finisher, great on the ball, good in the air, influential, passionate, calm, mature, great passer, sharp inside the box and future captain material. I would rate McInerney at £500,000 and would go to £850,000 for his services. McInerney will inevitably play in Europe and will need a manager willing to take on McInerney as a project. He will score plenty of goals but needs the time and patience.
